No person or governing board decides if you are a member. We believe that when a person accepts Jesus Christ as Savior, then God places that person in the church. Salvation is the only criteria for membership in the North Avenue Church of God.

Individuals generally seek opportunities for continued spiritual growth through prayer, daily Bible study, and service as they journey daily under the direction of the Holy Spirit. A consistent demonstration of Christian character is appropriate before persons are recognized for responsible leadership positions. For business purposes, our by-laws define voting membership based on age and length of time worshipping with the congregation. Participating in the worship services and fellowship activities maintains congregational membership. A person removes himself or herself from membership when there is no longer a commitment to Jesus as Savior and Lord, or when the lifestyle becomes inconsistent with the teachings of Jesus and the New Testament.
